What People's Say About Place

"Brewphoria" - the feeling of immense joy, satisfaction, or delight experienced by tea lovers when they indulge in a perfectly brewed cup of tea. The three of us came during opening week and tried six drinks and an order of popcorn chicken. Some of the drinks had: the jasmine milk tea, the Thai tea crème brûlée, the passionfruit & watermelon green tea, the coco mango, and the grape green tea slush with non-alcoholic beer. I forgot what the sixth drink was. All the tea drinks ended up tasting too much of either syrup or milk, which makes me a tea lover, extremely sad. As for the more interesting grape green tea slush with non-alcoholic beer, wow, it really tastes like beer! It almost gives a cough syrup vibe, which I haven't decided on whether or not I liked it. I do recommend getting the thai tea crème brûlée and the passionfruit & watermelon green tea though. As for the popcorn chicken, for having waited over 30 minutes for it, the chicken came out soggy, and the basil was limp. I will note that we came shortly after they opened, so they seemed overwhelmed. All that being said, I wouldn't hesitate to come back. It's a kawaii pinku place with lots of Instagrammable spots. 3.5 stars, but I'm rounding up! To note, the drinks here definitely lean on the sweeter side. I would get everything at 25% sweetness.

I don't know about the other drinks but I love that they have mochi as a topping in their drinks. I honestly never knew to get it but when I got a Too Good To Go bag from them they always had a mochi topped one so that was my first time trying it. Huge disclaimer here though: the mochi is not for everyone. It's a very snotty, gooey consistency but to me it feels like the gelatinousness of deconstructed boba (without the hard insides). If you want to try it, go with someone that doesn't mind gooey things so they can finish it for you if you don't like it. The place is nice to study but if it was a bit cleaner and had a better ambiance I would find myself studying there a lot more. There's enough room to add more cozy seating so I would definitely recommend renovations since I really like their drinks.

. The drinks taste clean and fresh, not artificial or overly sugary like many other places. You can tell they care about quality. The staff is always friendly and the space feels bright and inviting. It’s a great place to hang out or grab a quick drink. Highly recommend the lychee water melon green tea and taro!

I drink boba like it’s water and ume has become a top favorite ever since they’ve opened here in Arizona. The interior is a pink explosion with their giant bunny mascot and few fun photo ops with the decor. My go to is their black tea with mochi and (fresh) taro paste. I haven’t seen many places offer mochi as a topping, but there’s a silky texture to it so may not be a favorite for those who dislike that consistency. The coco mango is also refreshing on warm days and is almost slushy-like with fresh mangos. I tried their new pistachio Dubai chocolate shake and I’d suggest omitting the kataifi (the shredded phyllo)… I’m not sure how it’s prepared or maybe it’s because it’s placed in a cold drink, but the kataifi is sharp and tough so it’s almost a choking hazard. Besides that, I was worried the chocolate drizzle would make the drink sweet, but it was actually good and definitely could taste the pistachio flavor. I’m not sure why the pistachio mango and pistachio mochi shakes are coming soon since they have the ingredients, but you could probably try asking them to make it for you. The popcorn chicken and curly fries are also solid and a nice snack. I only wish they’d expand their snack offerings similar to the California locations.

The popcorn chicken was crispy and flavorful, not greasy at all. Perfectly seasoned and super tasty. The tea was refreshing and balanced out the meal nicely. Will definitely come back for more!

During our vacation, we had the chance to stop by Ume, and let me tell you, my daughter is absolutely obsessed with the place! We have one in Sacramento that's usually pretty busy, so it was a nice surprise to find this one wasn't too crowded since it's relatively new. The staff member we chatted with mentioned that they're still getting everything up and running, so they didn't have the touchscreen for ordering just yet. We decided to try two surprise cups, one with a mango smoothie and the other with a yum-berry slush. It's such a fun spot for kids; my daughter was thrilled with the giant bunny there! Plus, it's a lot bigger than the one in Sacramento, which means plenty of space to sit and enjoy.

Walking into Ume Tea is like stepping into a whimsical wonderland. The shop is adorned in soft pink hues, with adorable rabbit plushies perched on every corner. The atmosphere is playful and inviting, perfect for a sweet treat and catching up with friends. But beyond the cute decor, Pink Rabbit offers a delightful selection of fruity drinks and boba drinks. Their menu boasts creative flavor combinations and high-quality ingredients. If you're looking for an Instagram-worthy boba shop with delicious drinks, Ume tea is definitely worth a visit. Just be prepared for a potential sugar rush!

Best milk tea in AZ—strong tea taste, perfectly made. The popcorn chicken is super tender. Highly recommend!
